The First Aid course or in combination with CPR & AED training class is intended for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers or anyone with limited or no medical training but desire or required to be certified to meet job, regulatory requirements.
These courses can be taken in the traditional instructor-led classroom setting or taken as a blended/e-learning format. Audience: For anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid. Examples are parents , nannies, grandparents, babysitters (ten years or older), summer camp counselors, coaches.
Content / Modules: The Heartsaver® First Aid course includes instructions in First Aid basics (including scene safety, finding the problem, calling for help and more), Medical emergencies (including actions for choking, breathing problems, shock and more),Injury emergencies (including actions for bleeding, broken bones, burns and more), Environmental emergencies (including actions for bites and stings, and temperature related and poison emergencies).

Firt Aid CPR & AED
Audience: Heartsaver courses are for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid and/or CPR AED to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
Content / Modules: Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use. There are optional modules in child CPR and AED use and infant CPR.

Bloodborne Pathogens Classroom
This course teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. The course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.
Audience: The Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Online Course is a self-directed eLearning course designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific bloodborne pathogens training. It is designed for anyone with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens such as correctional officers, childcare workers, security guards, maintenance workers, school personnel, hotel, housekeepers, health and fitness club staff, and tattoo artists.
Content/Module: Through a series of online modules and interactive activities, Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Online covers the general OSHA Standard for bloodborne pathogens training for anyone with a real potential for occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens. It uses the PACT acronym (Protect, Act, Clean, Tell) and slogan, “Make a PACT, Know How to Act™,” to help students learn and easily retain bloodborne pathogens training. The Heartsaver BBP Course was designed specifically for employees in settings such as industry, Fortune 1500 companies, occupational health, property management, hospitality, security, and health and fitness staff. Other audiences that may be interested in the Heartsaver BBP Course due to additional state regulations include childcare workers, school personnel, maintenance workers, tattoo artists, and state corrections facilities.

Adult First Aid OnlyThe Adult First Aid training in Sacramento, teaches how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, how to relieve choking on an adult.and other first aid emergencies. This course does NOT include CPR and AED use.
CPR & AED OnlyThe CPR & AED course help prepare people to respond to a cardiac arrest and choking. This program conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC. Students can choose between the Adult, Children, Infant options for the same price.This course does NOT include First Aid.
First Aid CPR & AEDThe CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid combination training is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting. The students will acquire critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive.
