BLS for Healthcare Providers
This is the new 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). It reinforces skill proficiency with emphasis on high-quality CPR including a team dynamics classroom activity. The video-based course is with real world scenarios. Healthcare professionals learn to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.
Students will participate in these simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations in a classroom setting by working with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing, and complete a written exam.

BLS for Healthcare Providers Online Part 1 presents cognitive information through a series of case-based scenarios, videos and interactive exercises. Upon successful completion of part 1, including the online written test, a Part 1 Certificate of Completion is available for you to print. This certificate must then be presented for Parts 2 and 3, the hands-on skills practice and testing session with our American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Instructor. Students will receive an AHA BLS Providers Course Completion card, upon successful completion of all three parts.
This online course provides an alternative to classroom training for healthcare professionals seeking an initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Providers course completion card.
